SALES EXECUTIVE JOB SUMMARY:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join an award winning, Bournemouth based fintech company, who design and build exceptional technology and customised solutions for a variety of industry sectors.

With a focus on growth, they are now looking to employ a Sales Executive into an existing team, and are ideally looking for a target driven, self-motivated individual who has at least 12 – 18 months B2B sales experience.

In this role, you will focus on outbound telephone-based sales activity designed to generate, qualify and assist in converting new sales opportunities across the company’s product range.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SALES EXECUTIVE:

  • Create and maintain your own sales / prospects list, utilising an array of different data sources (Provided by the company and through your own market research
  • With a focus on telephone-based activity, build a contact strategy for this prospect list to generate qualified leads that can be passed to the National Sales Manager
  • Work with the National Sales Manager to convert qualified leads into sales
  • Work closely with the National Sales Manager and the wider Sales team to meet and exceed assigned revenue targets
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with relevant information relating to sales leads, ensuring accurate data is produced in relation to the sales pipeline
  • Develop a good working knowledge of the organisation’s technology propositions
  • Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency in all external messaging
  • Stay up to date with new product launches and wider industry news
  • Deliver product demonstrations to prospect clients
  • As required, meet with prospect clients in person / video meeting to demonstrate products and to determine specific requirements
  • Gather feedback from sales prospects where appropriate to help shape the product roadmap

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: 

  • At least 12 – 18 months of B2B sales or account management experience
  • Experience of working within Financial Services / Insurance / Banking / Mortgages or Wealth industries would be advantageous.
  • A strong communicator with a professional / consultative phone manner
  • Proven ability to quickly understand customers’ expectations and circumstances, in order to sell them a product that will be beneficial to their requirements.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage your own workload and sales pipeline
