Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing to join a growing team, within a newly created role. Based in the Bournemouth area, the successful Head of Digital Marketing will oversee a team of 5 staff in the marketing department, with responsibility for the full marketing function for multiple brands, within a franchised network.
Whilst previous experience in a head of marketing / senior marketing manager role is essential, additional exposure to working in either a franchise / multi brand environment, or the Financial Services sector would be hugely advantageous.


• Manage, motivate and develop the Digital Marketing team. The Head of Digital Marketing will report directly into the MD and Marketing Director – previous man management experience is essential for this role.
• Responsible for defining and executing the digital strategy for multiple sites, across 5 / 6 brands, focussing on delivering long-term growth.
• Develop and execute a result-driven CRM strategy and plan, using both the prospect and customer database to deliver value through upselling and cross selling of multiple brands with differing offerings / target markets
• Optimise the CRM programme to drive brand awareness, consideration, engagement and ultimately, delivering valuable leads at every opportunity along the customer journey
• Develop and execute an SEO strategy that improves SEO performance across multiple brands, using both on page and off page activities
• Work closely with external agencies and other internal resources to manage SEO and PPC campaigns and ensure that websites are fully optimised to meet technical SEO requirements
• Work with agencies to develop and execute PPC strategies that drive high quality traffic to the brand websites, resulting in valuable leads
• Managing multiple websites on behalf of various brands
• Develop social media strategy with defined goals to increase brand awareness, consideration and lead generation
• Create and executive effective social media programmes for each of the brands across all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin)
• Build relationships with senior management and conduct regular meetings with department heads to ensure that marketing efforts are maximised
• Manage the relationship and performance of all digital and marketing external suppliers to maximise results and drive efficiencies
• Provide performance updates to the network to demonstrate ROI


• As Head of Digital Marketing, you will have an excellent understanding of all digital acquisition and retention channels and be driven by delivering proven results.
• Previous experience of managing all aspects of Digital Marketing to include eCRM, PPC, SEO, Social Media, Website development is essential
• Experience of defining and implementing a digital strategy aligned to our business goals and executing a results driven plan
• Proven experience of implementing and improving successful digital marketing campaigns that generate high quality leads and deliver ROI
• A commercial mindset is essential – you will be monitoring budgets, setting strategies and working closely with the Senior Management team to report on the overall performance of the digital marketing team.
• Experience of working across a cross disciplined team, collaborating with different areas, would be ideal – furthermore, if you have worked within either a franchise / multi brand environment, or within financial services, this would be hugely advantageous
• You will need to be a self-motivated, driven manager who can lead a team and deliver effectively across ambitious targets
• Strong communication skills are essential – you will be working closely with external agencies, internal departments as well as meeting face to face with heads of departments across multiple brands.
