JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an accounts professional, with previous experience of preparing limited Company accounts, in a Practice environment.   The successful candidate will be joining a busy, growing practice with a head office in the Poole area.  You will ideally be part / fully qualified, but our client would be prepared to support ACCA Training as an option, if required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing Limited Company accounts
  • Preparing tax returns as well as Director’s personal tax returns
  • Take responsibility for some management accounts to enhance relationships with clients
  • Provide reports to clients and handle queries as required
  • Cover off any other duties as reasonably required.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous practice experience would be ideal
  • Experience with a variety of accounting packages (Xero, Sage)
  • Proactive approach to work, with the ability to work in a very busy, often reactive environment
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Customer focused with a professional manner – you may be liaising with clients over the phone, in writing and in person
  • Previous Tax experience would be advantageous but not essential as training and support can be given.
